Velora Code comes to Windows desktop
A Windows installer bundles the local workspace agent, Node runtime and browser checks, with automatic desktop connection.
One installed workspace
The desktop app opens the hosted Velora Code workspace and connects its bundled local agent automatically. Local files, GENESIS, the PTY terminal and preview use the selected project folder. Browser projects and the dashboard remain available from the app.
Browser sign-in and local connection
Google sign-in runs in the system browser and returns a short-lived credential through a one-time local callback. Existing email sign-in is also available. The desktop connection token stays in the app process; users do not need to paste it into the editor.
Current scope
The installer includes a Windows Node runtime and the local testing browser. Internet is required for the hosted editor, sign-in and online AI services. The app uses existing configured AI services; it does not add new providers.
Local checks cover request validation, sign-in callback expiry and origin checks, file edits and stale-write protection, terminal output, preview and cleanup. Production compilation and regression tests passed. Windows installation and real account sign-in still require device validation. This is a desktop preview release.
